Of course, Iceland is one of the best places in the world to see
the Aurora Borealis, (Northern Lights), that natural
phenomenon that paints the northern night sky with surreal,
unearthly color. In the most intense Northern Lights areas, including Iceland, the lights are best observed from late August to mid – April. However, from late September to late March one enjoys the best opportunity, due to the spring and fall equinoxes.
